About David
"Having performed live for 13 years with just a mic and a guitar, I understand exactly what it takes to survive a set. My 302 students have taught me that vocal health and resonance are the foundation of any great performance. I am self-taught, which means I prioritize practical techniques over rigid academic theory. We will focus on your vocal range extension, belting technique, and genre styling in pop or theater.
I also integrate sight singing and harmony work to help you feel more comfortable on stage. Even after 2 decades in the industry, I still believe the best lessons happen when we keep things simple. You have a unique instrument, and my goal is to ensure you know how to use it safely.
I hold a deep appreciation for the craft of singing and the vulnerability it requires. I promise to keep our sessions grounded in the reality of your own artistic goals."
