About Mara
I am a dedicated and passionate English tutor with a strong commitment to helping students improve their communication skills with confidence. As a graduate of English major studies and a licensed professional teacher, I have developed the knowledge, patience, and teaching techniques needed to support learners from different backgrounds and skill levels.
With several years of tutoring experience, I have worked with students who want to improve their pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and conversational English. My teaching style is student-centered, meaning I adjust my lessons according to each learner’s needs, goals, and pace of learning. I create a supportive and comfortable environment where students feel encouraged to participate and express themselves without fear of making mistakes.
I believe that effective learning happens through clear communication, consistency, and meaningful interaction. That is why I focus on practical English usage and real-life communication rather than relying on distractions. My lessons are designed to help students become more confident, independent, and motivated in using English both inside and outside the classroom.

My approach as a tutor is centered on helping students build confidence while improving their English communication skills. I focus on proper pronunciation, grammar accuracy, vocabulary development, and natural conversation practice. I believe that students learn best in a supportive and engaging environment where they feel comfortable expressing themselves.
In my classes, I use clear explanations, guided speaking activities, repetition techniques, and real-life examples to help students understand lessons easily. I also encourage active participation so students can practice speaking English naturally and confidently. Rather than relying heavily on props or distractions, I focus on meaningful interaction, effective communication, and learning beyond lesson slides.
A typical lesson usually starts with a warm-up conversation to assess the student’s level and speaking confidence. This is followed by pronunciation and grammar practice, vocabulary building, reading or speaking exercises, and constructive feedback. I always adjust my teaching style depending on the student’s needs, pace, and learning goals.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my patience, consistency, and ability to create a comfortable learning environment. I make sure that students not only understand the lesson but also feel motivated to continue learning. I teach with passion and always aim to help students improve step by step. Mara is also an important part of my teaching journey and inspiration as an educator.
My lessons are suitable for beginners to intermediate learners, including children, teenagers, college students, and adult learners who want to improve their English skills for academics, work, travel, or daily communication.
