People often assume that becoming fluent in Spanish requires only memorising lists of vocabulary. Honestly, I find that the most challenging aspect is often just relaxing the jaw enough to form the vowels correctly.
I have worked with 270 students ranging from absolute beginners to those prepping for DELE exams. My MA in Hispanic Studies and my time at the Royal Academy of Music taught me that language lives in the rhythm of the chest and throat. I teach Spanish as a living entity, focusing on accent and intonation as much as grammar. Business Spanish and travel Spanish become far more accessible when you understand the internal logic of the phrases.
It is genuinely enjoyable to watch a student finally grasp the flow of a difficult idiom. My experience allows me to bridge the gap between hobbyists and those needing professional fluency.
