About the lesson

'TASHI-DELEK-THE TRAVELING MONK'-A short docu-drama based on the life of a young monk,who is a reincarnation of a Panchen Lama.
SYNOPSIS:
The story narrates the events,anecdotes,incidents and trials of his life.Tashi was an exceptional young student so he was sent to a monastery, by his parents,to study Tibetan scriptures and art for his educational progress.He is studying Tibetan Art and Cu lture under an Old Monk,Dorje.
He was excelling in his pursuit,when a disease called CORONA,spread like wild fire from China due to a virus called COVID-19,during the COMMONWEALTH GAMES.
So he is asked by Dorje to go back to his abode in Lhasa,Tibet.En-route he is kidnapped by Chinese spies who take him captive into a Chinese prison and lock him up in a cell.However,he manages to slip a letter appealing for help from his Mentor,Zazen to his local guide,asking Chang to contact him,when he spotted the spies.
Zazen disguises himself as a Chinese official and helps Tashi to escape from the Chinese cell.He takes Tashi to meet the Dalai Lama,to whom he proves his identity and usurps the false prophet and impostor,Norbu a Chinese puppet posted as the reincarnation of the Panchen Lama.
He then fights for the freedom of his Tibetan people and ends up living pecefully and happily in Shangrila meditating and abiding according to the laws of Buddha.

Sc.6:MCU of Dorje,asking Tashi to leave for his abode due to danger of the disease.
DORJE:'TASHI,you must go back to your family.It is dangerous for you to stay here anymore due to the disease.
I shall make arrangements for you to leave tomorrow.Pack your belongings and have your dinner.'
TASHI:'Yes Master I shall do as you instruct.Good night.Thank you.'....Cut to
ACT-2:
Sc.7:MS of Tashi packing his bag and preparing to leave.He dons his cap,mask and cowl and takes his umbrella,a letter from his Master for his former Mentor,Zazen.He is accompanied by Chang,a local guide and Yak owner and together they embark upon their journey.(1 min.)Fade out
Sc.8:They are attacked by Chinese spies.Tashi slips the letter to Chang,for Zazen. Chang escapes while Tashi is taken captive by the spies.(3 mins.)Cut to
Sc.9: The Chinese spies take Tashi to a Chinese prison and put him in a cell and lock him up.(1 min.)Cut to
Sc.10:Zazen receives the letter from Chang.He disguises himself as a Chinese official and helps Tashi escape from his cell under the pretext of an interrogation by higher officials. (2mins.)
