About Kimmi
I grew up in a small town where I attended a fairly small High School. In this school we had an international language centre, where students from all over the world would come and learn about the culture. I would do my best to be-friend them and learn more about them.
This meant that we talked everyday, where I would encourage them to use their second language, even if they felt scared, as I believe using your second language is the only way you get better.
I believe that with the proper guidance, encouragement, and confidence, I can help you become more confident in your ability of English, whether that is through speaking, writing, and/or reading.
I will support you every step of the way and be there for any questions you may have - let's learn together!!

My lessons will go for 1-2 hours from Monday-Friday, anywhere between 9am-5pm!
I have my level five diploma in teaching English as a second language, and my bachelor's degree majoring in Education from the University of Otago. My preferred age range would ideally be 7-15.
My teaching techniques will consist of using movies, short clips, music to extract meaning, but also using stories from people, in order to understand meaning, vocabulary, conjugation, and grammar in the text.
