About Marion
Energetic singing encompasses the whole person. It draws upon the body, the psyche, and life energy.
Singing is the ultimate expression of the Self, where the “I” is put to the test—facing myself and my own judgments, and facing the other person who is listening to me.
I “read” your energetic profile and adapt to your needs during the sessions, which are different each time.
My students, of all levels, often come with a desire to flourish not only in their voices but also in their lives, as one is a natural extension of the other.
The sessions are a time entirely for yourself, in the present moment, where you explore your voice and (re)discover the joy of singing.
There are no technical prerequisites to start singing; you don’t need to know music theory. I work with or without sheet music, as the experience is gained through bodily sensations rather than intellectual understanding.
I offer physical and vocal exercises to help you tune in, including a sound cleansing exercise at the beginning of each session.
Various techniques are explored depending on the needs of the moment, such as listening, grounding, visualization, rhythm, and vocal placement.
You’re welcome to explore a song of your choice that you can work on between sessions.
All styles of music are welcome.

My goal is to guide you and teach you techniques so that you can become self-reliant and comfortable with your voice.
I’m also bilingual in French and English, therefore I also teach pronunciation and note placement in singing French.
