About Kathrine
I am 25 years old and am doing my thesis in musicology at KU, where I have French as a minor. During my studies, I have, among other things. specialized in teaching at the high school level in choir and music management and French language and literature. I have a very special fondness for grammar and phonetics, which I know are often sore points in language teaching. I enjoy sharing my knowledge, and I often think back to my own high school years, where I was seriously inspired to make a difference myself as a teacher. A skilled teacher is of crucial importance for the academic benefit.

As a teacher, I strongly believe that it should be safe and relaxed for the student, so it is the motivation and desire to learn that drives the teaching. In classroom teaching, it is difficult, if not impossible, to hit all students, but on a two-person basis, we can find exactly the methods that work best for you. For me, it's about creating small success experiences quickly in order to establish a professional self-confidence and pique curiosity.
In addition, it is very important to me to put an end to the perception that you have to be good at school all. I therefore want to focus on the competencies that you as a student place the highest weight on, and from that we jointly set a realistic goal. One must be allowed to strive for the best, but one must also choose his struggles and use his energy wisely.
I offer tuition in French for students in primary and secondary school as well as students in higher education - and by the way other curious souls and language lovers of all ages.
