About Mehar
When I sat the 11+ more than a decade ago, I remember how tough it was to manage the workload and pressure. At the time, I often wished for extra support, and that experience has stayed with me ever since. It’s what drives me today to help students who may be facing similar challenges. I understand that exams like the GCSEs can sometimes feel overwhelming, but with the right teaching methods, encouragement, and resources, they become manageable. I aim to break topics down into simple, easy-to-follow steps, giving students the tools they need to gain confidence and achieve success. For me, tutoring is not just about grades—it’s about helping students feel supported, motivated, and capable of tackling challenges. I want every learner I work with to know that they’re not alone and that they can reach their full potential.

I prefer to do lessons of duration between 1.5-2 hours, and have been tutoring for over a year and a half with Horizon tutoring, and then since February of this year, I've been doing 1-1 in person tutoring for an 11+ student. I usually first find out which topics my students are weaker on and then targeting those topics so they get consolidated and stronger at them, one by one, until they become more confident in their ability.
