About Joshua
Hello all! I am a third year Computer Science undergraduate at University of California, Irvine with a 3.582 overall GPA and a 3.531 GPA in the School of Information and Computer Sciences. In my free time, I enjoy gaming, playing basketball, and working out.
In the past, I have tutored Elementary Level Students in English, where I evaluated their strengths and weaknesses in Reading, Writing, and Grammar, and created lesson plans to improve different skills such as reading comprehension and narrative development.
Although I don't yet have much experience tutoring in Python and C++, I can and will transfer the same skills and methods from my past tutoring experience. I also have the skills necessary to tutor in Python and C++, as I have done many projects involving different concepts such as objects, methods, functions, public libraries, classes, attributes, inheritance, accessors, algorithms, data structures, APIs, memory management, and more.

Offering tutoring to anyone in need of assistance with intro level Python and C++. First tutoring session will include a quick assessment of your knowledge so I can create a robust lesson plan. I make sure you understand the fundamentals in depth with knowledge checks, explain how they are used, and why they are so important. If you want to learn about or brush up on specific topics, let me know and I will focus my lesson plan around those.
Although above is my main method of teaching, I change my teaching style according to the student and what is most effective.
