About Tom
I am Thomas and I have been professionally teaching water-sports and other outdoor activities since age 17. I am now an undergraduate third year mathematics/education student hoping to enrich my teaching skills and techniques through maths tutoring. I enjoy teaching so much because it fulfils me to be a part of people's progress and learning of skills. I have learnt over years that patience, clear instructions, good humour and confidence in your students are some of the most important techniques people can use when teaching anything to anyone!

Lessons will be encouraging and patient. I set out possible methods useful for solving problems and we work through them together, slowly making problems more puzzling. Lessons last 45 minutes, for students trying to overcome their mathematical struggles and strive for success. I am an undergraduate third year maths student and I have 4+ years experience of teaching outdoor activities.
