About Donnell
I am a third-year Mathematics student currently studying at Warwick with a love for maths and physics that I am keen on spreading to others in positions I was once in.
I have volunteered to help and tutor students from GCSE level upwards in maths and physics, many of which come away with a different perspective on the subject, a deeper understanding, and better grades than they would've expected, one such student even achieving a grade 8 in GCSE maths and is now studying Higher Level Maths as part of the International Baccalaureate in sixth form.

I am willing to give maths and physics lessons to students from GCSE level to first-year university level.
From my experience, the most effective way to learn maths or physics is to build upon intuition, by making connections and analogies with more familiar ideas in everyday life, in order to understand the concepts at hand. I find this makes the subject less daunting, means information is easier to retain and apply in new scenarios.
I also encourage my students to do a lot of practice questions to consolidate on their understanding, as ultimately experience doing any skill is the best way to improve.
