About Ruby
I am a third year medical student with a strong passion for science, learning and helping others understand complex concepts. I believe it is important to maintain a balanced lifestyle, fulfilling the other aspects of my life, hanging out with friends and participating in sports. I try to bring this same balance to tutoring, helping students learn effectively while building confidence and independence.

As a tutor, I focus on building strong understanding, personalizing lessons for the unique learning style that each student possesses. My lessons combine concept teaching with practice and feedback, assisting students to improve performance but more importantly to gain confidence! Each lesson is typically 60 minutes, with the possibility for 90-minute sessions if multiple topics/subjects (60 minutes of intense focus tends to be enough!) I have a strong academic background through high school, my undergraduate degree and now in my postgraduate Medical degree. I have extensive experience for the past 5 years tutoring students from primary to Year 12 in English, math and science.
