About Otilia
I am at third year mathematics student at University of Oxford passionated about science and all things related.
My mathematical experience includes, beside the progress I have done towards my degree, several awards obtained at national and international competitions during my school years, as well as research work, currently undertaking an internship in mathematical modelling of cancerous tumours.
I am also the president of the Invariants, Oxford Mathematics Society, which offers me the opportunity to meet the brightest mathematical minds in the world, as well as to coordinate and organise events for my fellow mathematicians.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing piano and watching psychological TV series. I am also a proud numismatic collector!

Having tutoring for over 3 years, I developed a plethora of methods and materials that have proved to be successful in the past. I like to guide my students into finding their own path into problem solving so that they can succeed on their own after our lessons.
Having successfully been admitted to Oxford, I have proved the skills necessary to pass the MAT and the Interview stage, which I have passed to my students, who have successfully applied to top UK universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, Durham and Warwick.
A typical mock interview session would be one hour long: The first 25 - 30 minutes we would be doing the actual mock interview, then the rest of the session I would give feedback on the interview skills, walk the student through the solutions and offer practice advise.
