About Emelia
Because I am studying teaching at University, I enjoy teaching and especially when I get to see the light bulb moment go off when people understand and are excited to learn.
I also loved english all through out my own schooling journey, and think it can be such a fun subject!
I am also a swimming instructor, so I have lots of experience teaching different things and changing my teaching styles and approaches to best suit the student :)

I think literacy is an awesome subject and I thoroughly enjoy reading and creating my own stories.
Through studying at the university of Waikato, I have spent plenty of time in class and working with students. I have worked specifically with year 7/8 (10,11,12,13 yr olds) and year 3 (7/8 yr olds), but am capable of teaching year 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 and 9 as well.
