About Jessica
Hello! My name is Jess, and I am a third year veterinary medicine student.
At GCSE, I studied Biology, Chemistry, English Language and Literature, History, Humanities, Mathematics (Higher Level), Physical Education (PE), Physics and Spanish! On progression to my A Levels, I studied Biology, Chemistry and Early Modern History. I also achieved a copper certificate in the Cambridge Chemistry Challenge and a bronze certificate in the Royal Society of Chemistry's, Chemistry Olympiad.
I have wanted to be a veterinary surgeon since before I can remember and this goal has always driven me in my studies. I have a particular passion for mental health and wellbeing and I have an active role at University as the Senior Wellbeing Representative for our VetSoc.
I would describe myself as a kind and compassionate individual who genuinely wants to see others succeed. I am passionate about helping young people work towards their goals and would be delighted to offer my help through tutoring my subjects.

I achieved my GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics qualifications in 2016 and achieved an A, A* and A grade respectively. I completed my A Level qualifications in the years 2018 and 2019 before beginning my studies in Veterinary Medicine. I have previously tutored small groups of A Level Chemistry students.
I can offer 1 x 1 hour lessons per week per student via webcam only at this time. My teaching style very much focusses on building confidence and utilises resources such as past-paper questions to consolidate knowledge. My lessons are targeted at students in school years 9-11.

I offer a free 30 minute first session. This session will allow us to discuss a study plan and make arrangements for future sessions (time/date/content).
Please note that if you cancel your session with less than 24 hours notice, you will still have to pay for your session in full (£10.00). All payments for all sessions must be made in advance of each session.
