About Helga

I am a third-year Chemical Engineering student at the University of Toronto with three years of experience tutoring mathematics. Over this time, I have worked with students of different levels and learning styles, helping them improve their grades, build confidence, and develop strong problem-solving skills.
My academic background in engineering means I rely on structured, logical, and proven methods when I teach. Throughout my university studies, I also developed my own effective study system that helped me succeed in demanding courses, and I am excited to share these strategies with my students so they can study more efficiently and with less stress.
I am reliable, well-prepared for every lesson, and committed to creating a supportive and professional learning environment. About the lesson

I use a step-by-step, concept-first approach that helps students truly understand math instead of just memorizing procedures. As a third-year chemical engineering student at the University of Toronto with three years of tutoring experience, I focus on breaking down complex problems into simple, logical steps.
