About Thomas
My name is Thomas Wilde. As a chartered accountant, I see every day the benefits of numeracy and critical thinking. Having achieved 9 A*'s in my GCSE's I progressed to study Maths and Economics at A Level among other subjects. In 2021, I graduated from University with a degree in Economics, and started my career in finance. I now work in statutory audit, tax, and consulting as an ACA chartered accountant. My aim is to inspire students to bridge the gap between classroom facts and industry realities, leading to true understanding rather than repetition of a syllabus. Having coached many students to grades beyond their hopes and ambitions, I am suited to coach students at every ability to success!

I use a pupil focused approach to lessons, tailoring taught content to needs rather than blank syllabus. Using interactive technologies as well as understandable practice questions, I have a history of high grade improvement and strong exam performance. Exam performance is as much about confidence in technique as syllabus knowledge, and using pre-planned question approaches my students have achieved 2-3 grade improvements over short time frames.
