About Maurice
Maurice Bishop has been playing chess since he was 12 years old and been in many chess tournaments from Middle School even to now. Maurice Bishop won 1st place at the National Chess Congress with a record of 5-0. Maurice Bishop won the 2001, 2002 and 2005 Greater Philadelphia Chess Championship. In the same year he won 1st place at the Pennsylvania Junior Invitational Chess Championship. Maurice Bishop been coaching chess for 15 years, has over 500 videos on YouTube and created a digital chess course for students called Maurice Bishop Chesss University - School forTacticians; in which received a 5 star review rating.

I strongly believe that in order to be a strong chess player you have to train on every weakness till you have no weakness. My lesson plans focus on endgames, chess strategies, and middle game plans as well as attack and defense. I train to think the right way and how to find solutions in complicated positions. I have exercises puzzles that will help train the mind in each different category. These lessons are for novice to advance. Regardless of your level, YOU WILL play stronger.
