About Pierre

I am a French, Italian, and English speaker, I've had the experience of teaching languages both in public schools and one on one lessons. I am deeply convinced that every student is different and face their own challenges when learning. I have also came to the conclusion that each one of us have personnal strong points that should be used when learning. Therefore I am looking forward to helping you find your way to progress efficiently in speaking french and, above all, helping you realize your potential.

I've always found learing fascinating. I have a solid scientific background with a degree in Biochemistry, learned two languages other than my mothertongue, and i'm passionate and inspired by history, physics, botanic, etc...

Through all my experience i am convinced that everyone can learn about anything as long as they have an interest and manage to stay motivated. No one should ever consider themself not clever enough to learn a language. So my mission will always be to help you realize your potential, see your progress and keep your motivation alive.

About the lesson

As a teacher I have had the opportunity to teach entire classes, one on one online and at home lessons. On each situation I witnessed that learners failed to progress or even stopped learning because they felt lost, or they were not seeing the results of their efforts, feeling that it was going nowhere.

This is why my method to teach is based on these basic principles :

- The reason why you want to learn that language.
- The difficulties you experienced when learning it.
- The methods you have already tried.
- The things you dislike when learning.
- And the simple truth that the more you talk, the more you see your progress.

According to these principles, the lenght of a lesson should be according to what will help you to get the most out of it : 30 min, 45 min, 1h, 1h30... whatever suits you.

The lessons are designed to be adaptable to any level, age, skill, personality.
