About Miyana
I am a dedicated chemistry tutor with extensive experience teaching students from various educational backgrounds. My passion for science motivates me to help learners understand challenging concepts in a clear and approachable manner. I enjoy guiding students through their academic journey while encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and a deeper appreciation for chemistry and scientific learning.
Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with students preparing for school examinations, university coursework, and competitive entrance tests. I emphasise patience, consistency, and strong communication to ensure students feel comfortable asking questions. Building a positive learning environment helps learners stay motivated and develop confidence in their academic abilities and scientific understanding.

My chemistry lessons are designed to make learning simple, practical, and engaging for students of different levels. I explain fundamental concepts clearly, including physical, organic, and inorganic chemistry, while connecting topics to everyday examples. Students learn step by step, allowing them to build confidence and improve their understanding of important scientific principles and applications.
I focus on creating structured lessons that strengthen conceptual understanding and problem-solving abilities. Numerical questions, reaction mechanisms, equations, and analytical thinking are taught through guided practice. Each session includes interactive discussions and exercises that help students develop accuracy, improve retention, and perform better in school examinations, competitive tests, and academic assessments.
Every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching methods to individual learning styles and goals. I provide regular feedback, revision strategies, and additional support where needed. My objective is to help students gain confidence, develop scientific curiosity, and achieve strong academic results while enjoying the process of learning chemistry in a supportive environment.
