About Agantha
With 9 years of flute teaching experience, I have had the privilege of guiding High School, College, and adult students, totalling around 150-200 learners. I focus on developing both technical skills and a deep appreciation for music, ensuring that students enjoy every step of their learning journey.
A memorable milestone was mentoring a student who had never played an instrument before, helping them build skills, confidence, and ultimately perform at a school concert. I believe that every student has the potential to excel, and I create lessons that are flexible, interactive, and tailored to their individual goals.
Beyond teaching techniques, I emphasise musical expression, creativity, and building confidence that extends beyond the flute. My mission is to help students achieve success while cultivating a lifelong love for music.

My flute teaching methodology focuses on making learning enjoyable, practical, and personalised. I use real-life examples and case studies to connect music theory with actual performance, helping students understand concepts clearly and apply them confidently. I emphasise motivation, encouraging students to stay curious, confident, and consistent in their practice.
I incorporate problem-solving in every lesson, guiding students to overcome challenges in technique, rhythm, and musical expression while building independence. Integrity is central to my approach, promoting discipline, honesty, and respect for music. I also maintain flexibility, adapting lessons to each student’s pace, level, and goals.
In addition to flute, I teach related subjects like music theory and fundamentals to give students a strong foundation. My goal is to make every lesson engaging, effective, and meaningful, helping students grow creatively, technically, and personally.
