About Parmiss
As a student myself, I understand what it feels like to sit in the classroom and feel lost and confused. That's why I think it's very important to establish a tutoring community that feels right for the student and is tailored to their pace and skills. My goal is to eliminate all the anxiety and confusion some face in the class and tackle math problems one at a time while ensuring my students' comfort.

teach math by breaking concepts down step-by-step and connecting new topics to things students already know, so ideas actually stick instead of feeling memorized. A typical lesson starts with a quick review of previous material, moves into guided practice on the current topic, and ends with the student trying problems independently while I'm there to help.
As a current Grade 10 student, I understand the material from a student's perspective by the common mistakes, the confusing parts, and what actually helps. This makes lessons feel relaxed and approachable, more like learning from an older sibling than a formal classroom.
My lessons are best suited for elementary and middle school students who want to build strong math foundations, catch up on tricky topics, or get ahead before the school year. I'm patient, encouraging, and focused on building both skills and confidence.
