About Magdalena

I'm Maggie and I'm a professional tutor in Japanese. Would love to be your tutor, too. I have a Master’s Degree and Ph. D. in Second Language Acquisition and Teaching Japanese as a Second Language, which I received in one of Japan's top universities. I've been teaching Japanese in Europe and in Japan for the past 15 yrs. online and offline.

About the lesson

MY LESSONS are tailored, as much as possible, to students’ interests and current abilities. My teaching is student-centred starting from student's needs and objectives. I believe teaching and learning should be an enjoyable experience for all involved. This allows the students to strive for their highest potential. I gear each of my courses on a student's strengths and abilities to help them to learn as quickly and efficiently as possible. Lessons are taught online via Skype or Zoom. I OFFER you a variety of courses: 1) Japanese for beginners/intermediate learners/advanced learners; 2) JLPT lessons /N5 – N1/; 3) Academic Japanese; 4) Japanese through Manga and Anime; 5) Business Japanese; 6) Conversational Japanese; 7) Kanji Lesson; 8) Japanese for Kids, etc. MY TEACHING STYLE is professional and light hearted. Lessons with me are interactive and fun. I like to challenge my students and ask interesting questions that pertain to their field of study. I also create a syllabus so that progress can be tracked and students can learn what areas require the most focus. I am caring, empathetic, and extremely patient, so students of all levels and backgrounds feel comfortable with me. I have helped many learners whether to get their dream jobs or the big promotion or just improving their Japanese for their trip abroad. The greatest difficulty is taking that first step!
