My teaching methodology is always practical based but when teaching on a one to one basis I aim to make the class person centred to cater for the individuals needs. For example if the student wanted to do theatre instead of acting for TV we would go through the differences and tailor a class to suit the needs of theatre for example, brechtian style and voice projection and interaction with the audience. Whereas if I was doing a group class the lesson would be tailored to the group and my method would be practical but with a basic understanding of the background of the class I am taking, with students feeling comfortable to ask me any further questions and print outs will be available to refer to.
