About Chizoba Janefrances

I am a Teacher by profession and calling that is to say I am a born Teacher. I am that teacher that has passion for what she does, I get fulfilled when my lesson objectives are met. I am that teacher that is ever ready for innovations, always making research for the sake of my students and to improve myself as well. I have been teaching Biology offline since 2019 till date from SS1-3, so far I have been able to encounter different problems from different students and by God's grace tackled all of them.

About the lesson

As a trained teacher Bsc. Ed (Biology option). That understands what teaching is all about I apply different methodology to drive my points home and they are 1. Inquiry-based learning: I encourage my students to explore and investigate biological phenomena through hands-on experiments and activities. 2. Active learning: I do Incorporate group discussions and problem-solving exercises to foster critical thinking and collaboration. 3. Visual aids: Utilize diagrams, videos, and interactive simulations to illustrate complex biological processes and structures. 4. Real-world connections: Relate biological concepts to everyday life, environmental issues, and current scientific research to increase relevance and interest. 5. Differentiated instruction: Cater to diverse learning styles by incorporating various teaching methods, such as visual, auditory, and kinesthetic approaches. 6. Technology integration: I leverage on digital tools, apps, and online resources to enhance teaching and learning, like interactive simulations, virtual labs, and educational games. 7. Formative assessments: Regularly I monitor student progress through quizzes, class discussions, and formative writing assignments to adjust instruction and support student learning. 8. Storytelling: I most times share fascinating stories and case studies from biology to captivate students' attention and make concepts more memorable. 9. Collaborative projects: I encourage students to work in groups on projects, such as research presentations, posters, or infographics, to develop teamwork and communication skills. 10. Feedback and encouragement: Provide constructive feedback and positive reinforcement to motivate students and promote a growth mindset in biology learning.
