About Breena
Hi, I’m Breena—a Voice Movement Therapy practitioner, vocal embodiment coach, yoga teacher, singer and performer. I completed my professional Voice Movement Therapy training in Pretoria, South Africa, and hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
My work brings together my understanding of the voice, body, creativity and emotional expression. Alongside teaching, I perform original music and share songs on street corners, stages and community spaces around the world. These experiences have taught me that powerful singing is not only about technique—it is also about presence, courage, connection and allowing yourself to be truly heard.
I meet each student with patience, curiosity and encouragement. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced performer, I will create lessons around your voice, goals and individual way of learning. You do not need to impress me or arrive sounding perfect. You only need to arrive willing to explore.

These personalized lessons go beyond traditional vocal technique. Together, we explore breath, sound, movement, emotion and creative expression to help you feel more confident and connected to your voice.
Each session is shaped around your individual goals. You may want to sing more freely, prepare for a performance, strengthen your stage presence, express emotion through music, feel more comfortable being heard or reconnect with your creativity.
Sessions may include vocal warm-ups, breathwork, movement, improvisation, songwriting, performance practice and reflective exercises. I create a supportive, playful environment where you can experiment without needing to sound perfect.
My intention is not to make your voice fit one particular mold. It is to help you discover the voice that feels authentic, expressive and fully yours. Lessons are available online for adults of all experience levels.
