About Russell
I did my undergraduate degree in History at the University of York, receiving a First with Distinction.
For my GDL, I received an average mark of 78.
For my LPC first stage, I received an average mark of 98, correctly answering all the multiple choice question in every single exam.
I also have a keen interest in competition law, as this is my current specialism working as a government lawyer.

As someone who recently completed my GDL and LPC, I know exactly what students need to ace these exams.
After finding out what areas you need help on, I will give focused lessons on the specific legal knowledge needed for these exams.
Also, as an non-law student, I know how hard the job application process can be. I can give advice on how to research firms, how to write applications and how to prepare for assessment centres.

Perfect! If you are looking for a tutor to boost your confidence and guide you through difficult topics with ease then Russ is the guy for you! He has helped me tremendously, by going over things slowly and in a thorough manner to insure I understand everything. Not to mention, his legal knowledge is vast and he has a great sense of humour which helps with learning. You should contact Russell if you are struggling with an LPC subject!

When I started my GDL, I was pretty well stumped. Coming from a history degree I found it extremely difficult to grasp the skills necessary to complete the course. Then Russell stepped into the breach. I can only say that he has saved my legal career. He is sensitive, patient and finds ways to explain material in a way that is much more easy to understand than the actual lecturers! I would recommend him to anyone struggling with their law exams!
