About Noor
My teaching approach for Violin is built on patience, adaptability, and understanding each student’s individual learning style. I believe that every learner progresses differently, so I tailor my lessons to match their pace and goals. Whether a student is learning to read sheet music, perfect their bowing technique, or prepare for a performance, I create a supportive environment that encourages steady and enjoyable growth. I use a problem-solving approach to help students overcome technical and musical challenges. By breaking down complex passages into smaller, clear steps, students gain confidence in tackling difficult pieces. I also include ear training and rhythm exercises to develop better musical awareness, tone precision, and expressive playing. My goal is not only to teach how to play but also to help students understand the “why” behind each movement and sound. Along with Violin, I can also teach related subjects like Music Theory and Performance Skills to give students a well-rounded understanding of music. I believe in combining discipline with creativity, allowing each student to find their unique sound while building a strong technical foundation. Together, we’ll focus on progress, expression, and a lifelong appreciation for music.

I am an experienced Violin tutor with over 9 years of teaching and performance experience, specialising in guiding college students to achieve their musical goals. My lessons focus on helping each student understand the beauty and depth of the violin while building a solid foundation in technique, tone, and musical interpretation. I believe in creating a positive and encouraging learning space where students can explore music with confidence and curiosity. My teaching style is built on patience, adaptability, and problem-solving. I understand that every student learns differently, so I tailor my methods to suit individual learning styles and pace. I use modern and interactive approaches, including recording feedback, digital sheet music tools, and play-along exercises to make learning both effective and enjoyable. I also encourage students to analyse and express the emotion behind every piece, turning practice into a meaningful musical experience. In addition to violin technique, I also teach related subjects such as Music Theory, Ear Training, and Performance Skills to help students become well-rounded musicians. Whether your goal is to improve technical skills, prepare for an audition, or refine your stage presence, I am here to guide you every step of the way. Together, we’ll turn practice into progress and passion into artistry.
