About Honey
With over 11 years of experience, I specialise in teaching singing to college students. I help students improve both technical skills and artistic expression, focusing on breath control, pitch, vocal tone, and performance confidence while nurturing creativity and individuality.
My lessons combine traditional techniques with interactive exercises such as vocal improvisation, recording sessions, and song analysis. Lessons are personalised to the student’s pace, style, and goals, making learning effective and enjoyable.
Performance readiness is central to my approach. I guide students in stage presence, expressive delivery, and self-confidence for recitals, auditions, and competitions. Music theory and ear training are also included to strengthen their musical foundation.
I encourage students to explore various genres and develop their personal voice. My philosophy emphasises patience, creativity, and accountability, creating a motivating and supportive learning environment.

My singing teaching methodology focuses on clarity, creativity, and discipline. Communication is the foundation of my lessons. I explain breathing techniques, voice placement, pitch control, and tone clarity in a simple and practical way. I encourage students to ask questions and share their challenges to make learning effective.
Creativity is emphasised throughout my lessons. I use expressive singing, song interpretation, and vocal improvisation to help students connect emotionally with music. Students explore various music styles while developing confidence and self-expression.
Cultural sensitivity is a core value in my teaching. I respect each student’s musical background and encourage songs from different cultures and languages. This creates an inclusive and inspiring learning environment.
Accountability is maintained through structured practice routines, clear learning goals, and ongoing feedback. I guide students to practise consistently and achieve steady progress. In addition to singing, I teach music theory, rhythm exercises, ear training, performance skills, and vocal care.
