About Jassy
I am a professional singing tutor with over 13 years of experience, teaching college students to grow as confident and expressive singers. My lessons focus on breath control, pitch, vocal tone, and range, while guiding students to connect emotionally with music.
I use creative and interactive teaching methods, including vocal improvisation, recording exercises, and song interpretation. Each lesson is personalised to the student’s goals, pace, and style, making progress consistent and enjoyable.
Performance skills are central to my teaching. I help students develop stage presence, expressive delivery, and confidence for recitals, auditions, and competitions. Music theory and ear training are also included to provide a complete musical foundation.
I encourage students to explore genres, experiment with styles, and develop their personal voice. My philosophy emphasises creativity, patience, and accountability, making every lesson motivating and inspiring.

My singing teaching methodology is student-centred, structured, and motivating. Communication is key to helping students understand their voice. I explain vocal techniques like breathing, pitch control, tone balance, and voice projection clearly, ensuring each student understands and can apply the concepts effectively.
Creativity is emphasised throughout my lessons. I encourage expressive singing, creative vocal exercises, and song interpretation. Students explore different music styles and learn to convey emotion naturally while maintaining healthy vocal habits.
Cultural sensitivity is highly respected in my teaching. I welcome songs from different languages and traditions, helping students understand their meaning and context. This encourages respect for diversity and strengthens students’ connection to music.
Accountability is maintained through regular practice schedules, progress tracking, and continuous feedback. I guide students to achieve their goals while teaching music theory basics, rhythm exercises, ear training, and voice care.
