About Freya
I have over 3 years of experience teaching piano and hold a Graduate Diploma in Piano Pedagogy. I am passionate about helping students connect emotionally with music while building strong technical skills. My lessons focus on pedal control, dynamic range, and expressive phrasing. Students learn to combine technical mastery with artistic interpretation. I work with beginners, intermediate players, and performance-focused learners. Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals and strengths. I emphasize listening, timing, and the emotional story of each piece. Students explore a variety of musical genres to develop versatility. I provide clear, actionable feedback to guide growth. Lessons encourage creativity, discipline, and confidence. Students learn to perform with both skill and expression. I aim to nurture expressive, confident, and well-rounded pianists. Together, we make music both technically strong and emotionally engaging.
