About Maria
I am a Scientific and Literary Translator based in Edinburgh.
I have been teaching English as a foreign language and Spanish as a freelance tutor for five years and also have experience working as a primary school English teacher.
I have also have taught English and Latin American Literature.

I like my classes to be student-driven. I enjoy focusing in each student's personal interests to make the sessions enjoyable.
Depending of what is expected of the classes, we can focus on either phonetics, grammar, conversation skills, etc.
I particularly like to work with films, music and literature as instruments to teach the language
