About Carlo

I graduated with full marks and honors from the Conservatory of Naples San Pietro a Majella and I am currently improving with high profile teachers. Among these Silvia Bellio, Andrea Manco and Matteo Evangelisti, first parts at the most important Italian theaters. I regularly attend masterclasses with teachers of the caliber of Andrea Oliva, Davide Formisano, Shimizu Kazutaka and I can put at the service of my students the vast panorama of knowledge that I have received and continue to receive from these teachers. I have played with important orchestras, covering the role of first flute and collaborating with important conductors. Among these: - San Carlo Theater Orchestra, under the direction of Maestro Juraj Valčuha, on the occasion of the 2018 Christmas Concert - Milan Navigli Orchestra, under the direction of Maestro Leonardo Quadrini, on the occasion of the 2019 tour in China - US Naval Forces Europe Band - Orchestra of the Jacopo Napoli Academy, under the direction of M ° Nicola Hansalik Samale, on the occasion of the representation of Don Pasquale by G. Donizetti - Symphony Orchestra of the Conservatory of Naples, under the direction of M ° Michelangelo Galeati , for the performance of the show "I tell you ... la Bohéme" - Symphony Orchestra of the Naples Conservatory, under the direction of Maestro Francesco Vizioli, on the occasion of various concert events at the conservatory - Wind Orchestra of the Naples Conservatory, under the direction of M ° Paolino Addesso - Sanitansamble youth orchestra, under the direction of M ° Paolo Acunzo, on the occasion of various concert events. September 2019 I was eligible for the Orchestra Academy project promoted by the San Carlo theater in Naples. Over the years I have participated in several international competitions, obtaining excellent awards: • 2008 - third prize in the competition for young musicians "Luigi Denza", Castellammare di Stabia (NA) • 2009 - second prize in the national competition "Piccoli Musicisti", Naples • 2014 - second prize ex aequo in the national competition "Flegreo" with score 94 \ 100, Bacoli (NA) • 2015 - second prize ex aequo in the national competition "Flegreo" with score 92 \ 100, Bacoli (NA) • 2018 - second prize ex equal in the national competition "Napolinova", for the category "Chamber music", with score 94 \ 100, Naples • 2019 - First prize overall at the national competition "Napolinova", for the category "Soloists", with score 98 \ 100, Naples • 2019 - National Crescendo Competition, overcoming the pre-selection and preliminary stages, with participation in the final.

About the lesson

If you want to try your hand at discovering music through the transverse flute, this is the right opportunity! Book the first lesson for free and without obligation: together we can undertake a productive and fun journey, in an atmosphere of collaboration and continuous synergy! My lessons take place within an hour \ hour and a half and are based on learning the suitable technique to take the first steps towards this instrument in a simple, effective and fun way at the same time, without neglecting the basic notions of solfeggio and music theory. All the lessons are aimed at students of all ages and of all types: both those who want to approach the knowledge of music for pure pleasure, and those who wish to have the basis to conduct a more in-depth study in the future and, therefore, receive the right preparation for admission to the Conservatory or musical high school. It will begin with the learning of a correct basic approach, up to, progressively, the study and execution of repertoire pieces, chosen together with the student, whose difficulty may vary according to the skills matured. Everything will be enriched with the study and execution, during the lesson, of duets and ensemble pieces.
