About Tiyi
Hi, there! My name is Tiyi and I have been singing for 23 years! My world has been inundated in music my entire life, and vocals are my main instrument and form of expression. I also play acoustic guitar and write/produce my own music. I have a Master's degree in teaching with four years of broad teaching experience to children and adolescents (including students with disabilities)--and I have experience coaching adults in my field. I created countless individualized education plans and have taken the same in-depth process to my singing students. I have coached young vocalists that went on to compete in competitions such as America's Got Talent and can ensure that you or your child are in good hands. My tutoring approach is YOU centered and I will meet you where your needs are by first assessing your vocal abilities and remembering that you are a WHOLE student with needs of encouragement, honesty, and patience every step of the way. Thank you for trusting me with such a delicate role, and I can't wait to work together soon! :)

Tiyi takes a holistic approach to vocal lessons--first giving an intake to gauge your skills and then implementing an individualized plan based on your performance and needs. We will cover foundational skills (i.e. BREATHING, matching pitch, exploring octaves, etc.), intermediate skills (i.e. mastering your unique vibrato, enhancing your vocal tone, articulation of vowels and themes), more advanced skills (i.e. sustaining, nailing runs, falsetto/ head voice, mixed voice, and belting), as well as your personal goals. Tiyi encourages you to come as you are and leave it all on the (virtual) stage to leave you feeling confident in your vocal abilities and empowered to keep going!

Perfect! Amazing talented teacher. . She's kind and patient and my daughter loves her
