About Ray
Hey everyone! Ray here. Trilingual by birth speaking English, Persian, and Turkish. I've been teaching English for over 3 years now! This special situation along with my position working in healthcare as a doctor (M.D) and therapist, along with my passion for coding and all things STEM, and also my love for connecting and communicating with the world about the intricacies of the human condition, inspired me to start teaching English to allow others to enjoy the usefulness and joy of being able to talk to the world!

I have an intuitive approach to teaching the language and I make sure students truly internalize and understand the language rather than work with them through repetitive regurgitation of content, always adding to their grasp on the language whether vocabulary or grammar through exposure to new words and worlds. I also have an intuitive way of teaching them correct pronunciation by helping them forget trying to speak in their native language and re-learn vocalization to speak perfect English. Classes are levels A1 to B2 and are held on Google Meet for ease of access.

He really knows what he’s teaching. You can tell he has a strong command of the language, and that gives you a lot of confidence as a student. I’ve learned things with him that I’d never understood properly before.
