About Trina
I am Trina, and I have been in the Early Childhood industry ever since I graduated from my Diploma! I am a dedicated Special Needs Tutor with experience supporting children with diverse learning needs, including autism and developmental delays. With a Diploma in Early Childhood Development & Education and a Degree in Psychological Science, I bring both hands-on classroom expertise and a strong understanding of child psychology to my teaching. My approach is patient, structured, and encouraging. I believe that every child learns differently, and I tailor lessons to match their strengths while gently supporting areas of difficulty. Over the past few years, I’ve worked in early intervention and behavioral therapy, helping children build confidence, communication, and academic skills in a supportive environment. Parents can be assured that I take professionalism seriously, from lesson preparation to progress updates, while also keeping learning enjoyable and motivating for students. My goal is always to create a safe, positive, and empowering space where children can thrive.

I typically use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in my 1-1 sessions. I primarily conduct 1-1 home-based or center-based interventions with children. Alongside with ABA, I use Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) as well for children who are nonverbal. I love to make my lessons fun and engaging for the children! A typical class would be around 1-1.5 hours. - 1.5 years of experience in the early intervention sector -Diploma of Early Childhood Development and Education (L2 certified) - Bachelor of Psychological Science O Level Results: Chinese: A2 English: B3 Science: A2 A math: A2 E math: A2 PSLE Results: Chinese: A English: A Mathematics: B Science: A I typically engage with preschool children aged 3-7 years of age.
