About Aaliyah
I am a professional singer, dancer, and actress. I have just begun giving private lessons for no more than a year. However, the one pupil I have had the opportunity to teach recently, has been accepted into UNC's musical theatre program along with a few other programs.

I give lessons to anyone who has a hunger to learn my art. My lessons are set up to be 50% performance assessments and 50% engaging lectures. We will go through my favorite full body warm ups together at the start of each class. During the performance assessment part of the lesson, I will ask you to perform a piece of musical theatre you prepared before our lesson. I will then give you my initial feedback, including a mixture compliments and constructive criticism. As for the engaging lecture half of your lesson, I will share my wealth of knowledge about auditioning, singing, dancing, acting, and stage presence, so you can take these nuggets of knowledge and use them to grow your skills, abilities, and confidence in the world of musical theatre.
