About Sophia
I am a tutor with three years of experience and a degree in Physics and Computer Science. My focus is helping students untangle the puzzles of quantum mechanics. I bring clarity to topics such as wave-particle duality, Schrödinger’s equation, and quantum superposition. Using analogies drawn from everyday life, I make abstract theories easier to visualize. I also rely on classic thought experiments, from Schrödinger’s cat to the double-slit experiment, to bring concepts to life. I have worked with advanced high school learners preparing for further studies in physics. I also support undergraduates who need guidance in mastering difficult coursework. My style balances technical detail with creative exploration. I encourage students to see beyond equations and think about what they mean. Quantum mechanics challenges intuition, but that is also what makes it fascinating. I believe learning physics is as much about imagination as it is about logic. My teaching approach makes physics practical, clear, and exciting. I cover essential topics such as electromagnetism, circuits and current, waves and optics, and a gentle entry into quantum physics. These subjects are explained through analogies that link abstract ideas to familiar situations. I also use simulations, which allow learners to visualize and experiment with physics principles. This way, learning becomes active instead of abstract. I offer tailored support for Engineers looking to master technical challenges and Space Dreamers inspired by the stars. Each lesson is adjusted to the student’s strengths, goals, and pace. I encourage learners to think critically, ask questions, and test ideas. My sessions are interactive, engaging both logic and imagination. Students leave with stronger problem-solving skills and a deeper appreciation for physics. I view each lesson as a journey of exploration. Every session sheds light on complex phenomena and makes the subject accessible and inspiring.
