About Livia
As a singing tutor with over 4 years of teaching experience and a BM in Jazz Vocal Performance, I bring a strong balance of technique, creativity, and performance insight. I teach students at all stages, from school-level singers to college students and working professionals. My main focus is musical theater and Broadway-style performance, where storytelling and vocal skill go hand in hand. I help students develop character through song, guiding them to connect emotionally while staying vocally grounded. Stage presence is developed through confidence, clarity, and intentional expression. I specialize in belt technique, prioritizing safety and sustainability. Vocal agility is another important focus, helping singers handle quick changes in style or emotion. My background in jazz strengthens my work in ear training, harmony, improvisation, and music theory. I believe these skills empower singers to become more independent and confident musicians. Each lesson is personalized and interactive, designed to support individual goals. I prioritize healthy vocal techniques and long-term growth. My teaching style is encouraging and supportive. I look forward to helping you prepare for the stage and enjoy the journey along the way.

My teaching methodology centers on helping singers express meaning clearly. Every song has a story, and the singer carries it. I work with students on lyric interpretation so nothing feels empty. Emotional connection is developed through understanding the song’s purpose. Storytelling through singing is a main focus of my lessons. I guide singers to communicate honestly with an audience. Authentic expression is always valued. Technique is taught to support comfort and control. I work well with musical theater styles like Fiddler on the Roof and The Music Man. I dedicate myself to refining emotional delivery. Lessons are supportive and focused. Singers grow in confidence and presence. They truly embody their songs.
