About Umaima
I am studying to become a teacher in the subjects English and Philosophy / ethics. These two subjects were also my major classes for my Abitur/ high school graduation (comaparable to AP classes); so I have been familiar with them for a while, in an educational context aswell. I grew up with the English language among others and acquired a language certificate (telc) with an excellent result after graduating. I privately get asked to do translation work all the time and also have experiences in tutoring.

I am relatively flexible in my teaching method, because I want to address the needs of the student first and foremost. You can be open about your problems and we will be able to fix them together :) From personal experience I am convinced, that language is particularly learned through the use of it. Hence, I would like to commit to the actual practice in addition to just the theoretical matters of the language, in order to strengthen your language usage in a natural way. My motto is: Language is learned through speaking. Learning should be fun above all!
