About Ayah

My name is Ayah. I speak both English & Arabic fluently (I also took Spanish for a few years & can understand common phrases). I am currently a junior majoring in psychology & minoring in linguistics at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I enjoy many things such as helping others, being in nature, spending time with family & friends, nutrition, volunteering, doing yoga, cooking, self-care, and so much more! After completing my bachelor's degree, I plan on going into speech pathology. I love helping others learn and enjoy seeing my students reach their goals.

About the lesson

-My teaching method is to engage my students. Learning a second language can be extremely difficult, however, if done the right way, students can be engaged & willing to learn.

-My lesson plans would vary depending on the student's level of English knowledge. A typical tutoring session would include new vocabulary words, picture games, sounding out letters, taking turns reading, & practicing spelling. However, I am very flexible & can adhere to my student's needs.

-I believe what sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to be creative and fun with the way I deliver the material.
