About Rejia
“Imparting knowledge is a privilege” words my father said to me one day, something that I now know and appreciate as a teacher because that look a student gets when they finally understand a concept is why I teach.
My name is Rejia and I have been teaching now for a number of years (coming up to 6 now) and I have taught many different subjects such as Biology, and English with ages ranging from babies to adults.
I am currently teaching in a Secondary school and I am teaching Biology and Ethics & Philosophy and of course HSC!
My subject specialisms are Health & Social care and Early years. I have previously taught in schools, colleges, training centres and university. I have practiced within Early Years and have gone on to train Early Years Practitioners. I have also worked within Adult Social Care and still train Care Assistants.

As there are a range of subjects to choose from lessons will be based on student need having identified knowledge gaps. After all isn’t the first step getting to know your students?
There will be opportunities for learning through different ways ranging from teacher directed to student practice and what we call knowledge retrieval. Really what this looks like is something being taught to you, checking that you have understood and then giving you chances and different ways to show you’ve understood.
