About Susie
My journey in education began with a passion for dance, where I spent years teaching movement and rhythm. In 2018, I transitioned that energy into a full-time career as a children’s educator in China. I believe children are our future, and I am dedicated to helping them unlock their potential through language.
I am driven by the unique perspectives children bring to the world and their natural curiosity for learning. My ultimate goal is to become a true champion for young English learners, fostering an environment where they feel confident communicating their thoughts to the world.

What is important for me as a teacher is to clearly convey to my students the objectives of the program, the results that we wish to attain, and the means of how we, as a classroom unit will accomplish these goals. It is especially important that the students are studying and learning in a positive environment and although each student has their own learning curve, I do my best to make sure that all the students understand the basics that we will cover and that they will all move to the next level together. I will keep the children's parents current on their behaviors and their overall performance in class. If any issues arise with a student, they will be addressed outside the classroom with/ without the teacher, parents, and school superintendent present, with the goal of solving the issue as quickly as possible and returning the student back to the classroom. All students are equally important and I value each and every one of their opinions and questions.
