About William
I have been teaching and tutoring since 2006, grew up in the Midwest and studied abroad in France, I love teaching in both groups and one-on-one, it has become my passion and what I am most proud of. I have come to appreciate that teaching is one of the best ways to learn about the world and yourself as well. I am proud of what I have done to help others and grateful for what they have taught me in return

Helping students to understand the material, rather than simply memorizing facts and regurgitating them. Comprehending and retention of information is more helpful and longer lasting than rote memorization, and actually easier in the long run. Making connections between subjects and topics is an excellent way to learn new things, remember them, and make use of them in both academics and the rest of life.
