About Victoria
I am a very interactive teacher, have dyslexia myself, had to find creative and memorable ways to revise throughout my own school life. Providing retrieval practice & revision techniques for exams & provide scaffolding and modelling of coursework. My background in education: PGCE Social Sciences (Health and Social Care) Health and Social Care Policy 2:1 BSc Honours. I currently teach A level Health and Social Care CCEA and am proficient in the Health and Social Care GCSE. I have also taught the BTEC syllabus for GCSE and A Level. I am also currently teaching the Child Development GCSE CCEA Syllabus. I will always adapt and support to students' learning style. I have an SEN background, specifically with ASD, that I apply to my teaching when needed. I worked in the Health and Social Care sector for over 5 years before deciding to become a teacher. This is very useful in providing real-life examples to support a student's learning in both child development and health and social care. I am currently employed as a full-time teacher.

I specialise in tutoring for GCSE, A-Level, and BTEC courses and am able to provide personalised lessons tailored to suit your individual needs. With my guidance, you will gain a deep understanding of the subject and develop the skills necessary to meet your goals within your coursework and for exams. I use a variety of teaching methods and resources to ensure that lessons are engaging, interactive, and enjoyable. I am extremely keen on retrieval practice to ensure the information really sticks in your head for exams. Personalised and individual 1-1 lessons available with resources tailored specifically to your interests and school curriculum. A wide variety of techniques will be available throughout lessons, ranging from knowledge quizzes, recall, study notes, videos and past paper questions to achieve excellence in exams. Lessons will last for 1 hour online or at a location of your choosing (this will be extra depending on travel).
