About Lauren

For the two years, I have been tutoring children with a renowned, UK-wide organisation, so am knowledgeable about a range of curriculums and tutoring methods, as well as how to create personalised, engaging sessions for each of my students online. I hold a first-class Masters degree in creative writing and BAHons in English literature from the University of Stirling.

About the lesson

Every session is tailored and fun! Building a relationship with each of my students allows me to pin-point personal learning gaps and encourage confident learning. I provide creative and interactive study materials and feedback after each session. Students will cover a range of topics in each session, which can be based in both maths and English or just one of these subjects. We will look at both situational questions, where we learn how to apply methods and knowledge, as well as test-style questions, so that students feel confident applying these to schoolwork. If there are topics or areas of learning that you have already identified as areas you would like your child to focus on, I am happy to develop sessions around these. Most importantly, I aim to create a virtual environment where my students can build their skills with me and enjoy learning.

If I am informed of absence at least 24hrs in advance of a class, I am more than happy for it to be postponed or rescheduled.
If less than 24hrs notice is given, no reimbursement or rescheduling option is available.
