About Calum
I am a fourth year medical student who achieved 3 A* at A-level. I also achieved a 9 in GCSE maths and an A^ (A**) in GCSE further maths. I have always enjoyed teaching maths, it was my favourite subject at school and I often would find myself teaching classmates. I find it so rewarding seeing students progress, improve in knowledge and gain confidence in their ability. I hope to help students achieve their goals and inspire them to learn.

Suggested lessons of 1 hour, these can range in structure from completing past papers to focusing on a specific subject with a mix of practice questions and teaching. It is important that tutoring is delivered patiently at the right level for the student and makes efficient use of the time. I like to identify the weaker areas of knowledge, check the student’s understanding, then teach as necessary and consolidate with practice questions.
I have previous experience tutoring GCSE Maths online and also have been involved in general teaching throughout my 4 years studying medicine at university.
