About Batool

I'm Batool. I study Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Bristol. I achieved AAA(A* inorganic chemistry) in my a levels, in Physics, Chemistry and Maths. I achieved 9s (A**) in my maths, physics, and chemistry GCSEs. I’m very passionate about helping my students achieve A/A* grades. I believe everyone has the potential to reach these top grades with the right learning techniques. I am very patient and understanding when a student is struggling. My approach to explaining is always calm and encouraging.

About the lesson

To fit the needs of each student, I can modify my teaching approach. Drawing frequent analogies and diagrams. I apply active recall and spaced repetition in the classroom to concisely teach theory. Overall, I make sure that the lessons are engaging for the students and connect the theory to practical applications. Given that I think learning encompasses more than just getting an A.

Asma is a fast thinker and eager to keep trying until she gets to the correct answer. She’s patient and persistent when answering maths questions. I have no doubt that she has the capability to achieve a top grade in her Maths A-level. Overall she was such a pleasure to teach!
