About George

Hi, I'm George, and I am 19 years old. During my free time, I like to play guitar, draw, and play video games. One of the games I'm playing right now is Monster Hunter Wilds. During high school and college, maths was my favourite subject. I went to Hazel Grove High School and then continued to Aquinas College. I am now studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Salford in my second year.

I achieved an A in A-level Maths and have scored 100% in level 5 BEng Mathematics exams.

About the lesson

I aim to aid the student in topics they struggle with, whilst keeping their already strong topics solid. Maths is something I've always loved; hopefully, with that mindset, my students can learn to enjoy it too. I have tutored both lower-sixth and upper-sixth in A-level Maths. GCSE maths whether higher or foundation is what I aim to teach providing simpler methods to tackle complex questions. Most students struggle with problem-solving which is something I will help to strengthen with them. During lessons, we will go through exam questions and assist with where they might have gone wrong on previous mocks. Lesson times can be expected to be 1 hour long.
