About Fraser
I am a driven, reliable, competent and capable Fashion Design Masters graduate with a strong focus in Knitwear design.
In 2018 I won Graduate Fashion Week Visionary Knitwear Award for my BA HONS Graduate collection. Whilst studying my BA I also took time out to study the Shima Seiki and Stoll digital Knitwear design systems to advanced level. Total time taken accumulated to three weeks of study.
I then proceeded to intern at Julien MacDonalds Studio in Notting Hill for six months, from January 2019 to June 2019.
Moving forward from there I applied for the Fashion Masters program at prestigious Central Saint Martins and obtained a place on the 2021 graduate year program.
I wish to help others fulfil their full potential as a knitwear designer and really understand the mechanics of knitting.

I am professionally trained in Domestic Machine Knitting, Dubied Knitting, Shima Seiki and Stoll machine Knitting programming.
I will help you with any knit problems you have. I will help you decipher a knit pattern that you want to adapt to your own design. We can choose the correct gauge to create the perfect weight for your samples and garments. Calculation of shaping for fully fashioned garments. Yarn consideration for garment performance and sustainable consultancy.
Lessons can be anywhere from 30mins to 2hours, depending on how much knit and design consultation you need.
I teach once a week at De Montfort University for knitwear and design. I have completed my masters in Fashion knitwear at CSM.
I mainly teach BA HONS and Master level. However I am open to helping A-Level and Art Foundation Diploma Level.

Perfect! Fraser is very friendly, reliable and patient even with a beginner such as myself. I would highly recommend him to anyone. I only wish I lived closer so that I could have regular lessons with him.
Perfect! I consider Fraser as a friend now, he is so friendly, patient and kind. I would consider him trust worthy as he used to come to my house and give me my knitting lessons. My cat passed away just before our second lesson and I had to cancel last minute Fraser would was very understanding and empathetic. I had no experience in knitting at all when we started but now I can knit full garments and use different knit patterns and techniques. I would definitely recommend Fraser if you want to learn how to knit or would like to push your knitting further as he knows everything! Thank you Fraser ! X
